   thanks to all who came. 68 person payed the RM5. half way through the day session, the cops were downstairs. they were there just to check on the cars parked downstairs and to control the traffic there! i thought they came because of the noise. syed dirty divider told the cops that we’re having “perjumpaan kelab vespa” because there were like 3-4 vespas downstairs.
   i was scared they might come up stairs, and kept the money and the DIY stuffs on sale away for awhile. after that, all kids entered for free.
   so, about 100++ kids came including the band members. cool! the gig was opened by gudung gabok,
   a 4-piece punk rock covering the bollocks, pistols. other bands followed: the goodnite goodies, dead eyes glow, virgin villain, killing steward, dirty divider, clumsy ruby and sumbang. then joe kidd invited syed dirty and jason (tokey studio) to back him up and played “boo hoo”, “happy” and “oppression”.

11. Joe Kidd

    Ku Yie datang join kami makan after the show kat “bo’woh re’tok!” (under thr bridge!). The man is getting married (finally) on December 23rd (atau yang sewaktu). Dia marah tak cakap kat dia awal-awal, “nok gok jam skali skala!”. SO next hari raya we’ll have him and the other “orang lams” join sekaki lah.

    Sorang lagi “orang lams” yang datang – Yie Ngabang Tlipot (yes, another “yie”). He’s (The Brayok) Rudy’s uncle. When we were young punks terrorising ayam-ayam kampung dalam tahun 1979-82 he was the keeper of the “Lojeng”. The “Lojeng” is a designated spot where we hung out. Yie also kept all our collective zines, vinyls and tapes in his house’s cupboard. We all share that space, a bit like a collective storage center!

    Anyway, huge thanks to Nizang & gang! To my cousin Lan and friends who drove all the way from “Krelo” Kelantan! Also Poodien, Kunin & Dean who also drove down from Koto Baru weh! Terima kasih banyok ke Rudy, Yie and gang for driving me back home!

    joe,also thanks to you..ahaha..mekasih ba’nyok sbb mr perform..taun depan wak lg..insyaallah..nok ajok ku yie lok..hahahaha..dok pung wak gig mase ku yie kawin..ekekekeke..neway,time jamm session aritu,ade sedikit kekalutan la..mcm nizang cite.polis dtg.tp nasib baik polis tak kacau..pastu tibe2 pulak amp blow.mase tu tinggal lg 2 band tak perform..tp tetap diteruskan.dan band yang main ngan 2 gitar,terpakse bermain merehatkan second gitaris mereka..hehe..sbb amp dah takleh gune dah.ape pun,terima kasih kepada semua yang datang.time kasih kepada band2 yang perorm.dan time kasih kepada tokei 60s studio.
