We had screening – a good film on HIROSHIMA and two more documentaries from India – good issue about SEX WORKERS but not well done – the usual crappy NGO kind of stuff - done to get FOREIGN FUNDING – the usual game played by loads of other NGOS around the world – fucking self-promotion - both stories from the maker – shit – in PCL they will be shot dead.

LAST SUNDAY: 30 SEPT 2007

Went out to the Tokyo version of FOOD NOT BOMBS - it was bloody cold and hujan all the time – I stayed in cheapo hotel compare to my current International House – one night at I-House could cover one week of that cheapo hotel. Many backpackers. Not far from some ancient RED DISTRICT area – (RUMAH MERAH SI-BLACK).

Before that, I was a guest at a Japanese family house – home made Sakiyaki / Cecah-cecah / Steam Boat – just to have the feeling entering these little houses.

FOOD – I will review this on OFF THE EDGE together with the FOOD NOT BOMBS story.

I was doing some serving there – SIMILAR like our Sunday afternoon – without exception all the volunteers work (NO KECIK there to be the GEDEBE!!! Hahahahah!)

But it was so miserable – the rain and wind – and the serving place was at a river bank – just imagine the wind. But it was very Japanese all the way.

TODAY, TUESDAY: 2 OCTOBER 2007 - LATE AFTERNOON

I am heading for Shinjuku – the Bukit Bintang of Tokyo – Pudin gave me an address of an anarko group – rang them up yesterday – so I must check them out. PLEASE NOTE: anarko kat sini pun satu pesen, depa cuti hari RABU! Ahahahahah maka jenis anarko aku pun tak tahu. Tutup opis pukul lapan – Jepun Jepun – anarko pun kena regimented – ni samalah macam PUNK /NAZI yang datang rumah aku tapi takut anjing – pooorah punk!!!

I received an e-mail from Matthew – a Canadian – dia kata dia ada sampai BAU BAU – entah mat salleh mana – Pudin yang bagi address. Dia pun ada di Tokyo ni – mungkin akan jumpa.

Tomiko – isteri latiff dah sampai – aku dah call dia – tapi dia sibuk – ada kenduri tahlil kat pagoda – kawan baik Tomiko bunuh diri dua minggu lalu.

FOOD – wow – this is the boring part – the program gave us enough money to eat well BUT nak order apa? Malam tadi aku gi supermarket beli sayur dan masak mee segera – ada satu bar /restauran yg aku minat tapi malam senin tutup! Ciiiiis! Miss babi rebus.

SUSSSSHHIII…. Well, one could take it but after some time one does get bored – for the next two months… Let see, if I will get bored!

OK – dah raya ke belum? Aku belum beli seluar dalam lagi - sejuk kontol!

TOKYO is bloody cold! NEVER COME TO JAPAN AFTER SEPTEMBER, unless one has a Japanese girl or jambu to warm u up – or else – sejuk sejuk sejuk!!
