Skatanixs’ Skatepunk CDEP Out Now!
Five pop-punk songs with much better recording; actually, everything here is better from their previous releases.
ricenote: Skatanixs is quite an old band, being around since 1999 in Penang. Saw this CD at a show there recently but got no money to spare after spending it on Crux’s merchandise! Anyway, one of the band members was once an editor with the Revolution skate magazine. Despite the name, the band is not a ska band. Their “ska” is more about “skate” and the sound is pretty smooth and crunchy pop-punk.
